CCTV Camera Maintainence
With time, cameras accumulate a film of soil on the lens that degrades the quality of the images. Box and bullet cameras attached to mounting brackets can lose their position due to vibration and/or mishandling. With age, electrical components within the cameras eventually burn out.
Electrical surges, lightening and electro magnetic interference from incandescent light fixtures and electric lines will eventually denigrate the quality of camera images.

As your business needs change, the position and number of cameras may need to change as well. These changes will be necessary to keep your system delivering the vital video data that you depend on.

Here are some tips for maintaining optimal camera performance:

Clean all camera lenses twice a year for optimal performance.
Ensure that all bullet & box cameras are securely in position and free of vibration.
Replace cameras with persistent poor image quality or broken parts.
Periodically review your camera positioning & setup to ensure they meet your current security needs.
Perform semi-annual inspections.
